MEI is an independent full-service planning and consulting company, specialized in designing and building, from the ground floor, major outdoor festivals and signature special events for its clients, sponsors and partners. Generally partnering with city, civic and/or downtown organizations, MEI has created and produced hundreds of major events with attendances ranging from 5,000 to 400,000. These spirited and successful citywide celebrations are generally free-to-the-public, underwritten by corporate sponsorship and designed to benefit business districts, urban neighborhoods and spur increased leisure economics and tourism.

Using its network of local, national and regional sponsors, who consistently associate their brands with MEI's high-quality, professional productions, MEI has raised millions of dollars of sponsorship revenue and is highly acclaimed for its creative approach to aligning sponsor marketing objectives with those of the event.

Events Produced:
MEI was the original producer of the award winning MAIN ST. Fort Worth Arts Festival from 1986-1995. During MEI's tenure, this free-to-attend event became nationally recognized as one of the Top 10 Events of its kind in the country. Using MAIN ST. as a platform for its future endeavors, MEI has since launched many of the most acclaimed events in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, including the Bedford Blues Festival, Deep Ellum Arts Festival, Dallas Festival of Art & Jazz, Irving Texas July 4th Music and Fireworks Festival, Gran Fiesta de Fort Worth, Texas Hydrofest, the closing festivities for Arlington Stadium, the opening festivities for the BallPark in Arlington, The All-Star Street Fest in Fort Worth in conjunction with the MLB All Star Game, Fiesta Fort Worth, Young Country Christmas Fireworks to Music, the KSCS Country Fair, Generation eXpo Music Festival and numerous other major concerts and special events. Opening a California satellite office in 2002, MEI has produced the Santa Barbara Festival of Art & Jazz, the Santa Barbara Summer Solstice, and continues to provide consultation services around the country.

Availability & Fees:
MEI bills for its services on a retainer basis and/or as a general contractor at a cost plus formula. Partnerships considered. Rates vary for business plan development, sponsorship and production services, speaking and consultation.
