The Irving Symphony Orchestra (ISO) will present, in conjunction with the City of Irving and other sponsors, the 25th Silver Anniversary of Irving's Firecracker 4th! on Saturday, July 4th in Las Colinas' Williams Square. This signature patriotic performance by the ISO, under the baton of Maestro Hector Guzman, will begin at approximately 8:30 PM - followed by two spectacular Disney-style fireworks presentations from two different launch sites. Gates will open at 5 PM. Attendees are invited to arrive early to enjoy music by local entertainers. Admission is FREE. Garage parking is available for $5. Williams Square is one of the most beautiful and iconic event sites in the entire region and is located at 5215 N. O'Connor Blvd. (just east of Highway 114/John Carpenter Freeway).

Pre-symphony entertainment will begin at 5PM with country singer-songwriter Magee Payne followed blues icon Joe Jonas Band at 6:30PM. Maestro Guzman has finalized the concert program for the ISO's portion of the evening which will include a diverse range of patriotic and Americana selections. This year's fireworks display will be produced by Western Enterprises, Inc., one of the largest pyrotechnic presenters in the region. Best known for its innovation, Western will produce dramatic, artistic and imaginative displays for Irving's Firecracker 4th! For the very first time there will be two entirely different fireworks presentations. Those attending the event on-site will be treated to a dazzling Disney-style fireworks display set to the backdrop of stirring patriotic music. Those that elect to bypass the crowd and view from a distance will enjoy a spectacular traditional high-element fireworks display visible to a larger area. Weather permitting, both displays will begin at approximately 9:45PM.

On-site attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs and arrive early for the best seating. In addition to the entertainment, attendees will enjoy a wide variety of food and beverage vendors, including beer and wine. For security purposes, event guests are prohibited from bringing coolers and/or alcoholic beverages within the plaza area including a section of O'Connor Blvd. adjacent to the plaza.. Pets are likewise prohibited.
